This world-renowned machinery design manufacturer is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This company specialises in the design of special purpose and automated machinery for a variety of sectors.
Reporting to the Engineering Director, the chosen Electrical Design Engineer will work on the full lifecycle of state-of-the-art automated/special purpose machinery used in manufacturing plants across the globe. The role involves everything from customer liaison, specifications, electrical panel design, PLC/HMI development, documentation, and test & validation. There are also occasional travel opportunities.

Electrical Design Engineer requirements:
- Degree or HND level in Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Panel design experience
- AutoCAD Electrical is essential
- Proven experience working with special purpose machinery
- PLC development experience in industry (desirable)
- Robotics experience highly beneficial
