One of our key clients based in the Liverpool area are looking for a Business Development Manager from an engineering background to join their growing team. Covering UK, Ireland & APAC, the successful Business Development Manager will be tasked with selling machine systems to a variety of process related markets.

Key duties include:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Managing customer relationships
  • Working closely with the engineering, project management, and operations teams to convert technical enquiries into successful orders

The company themselves are a global manufacturer of innovative systems used in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, and fine chemicals industries. Their equipment is also increasingly being used in emerging sectors such as battery development and precious metals.

Business Development Manager Requirements:

  • Degree / Qualification in Engineering (or similar)
  • Significant experience in Capital equipment / Machinery sales
  • Pharma, Biomedical or process industry experience (highly desirable)
  • Able to travel
