Christy Media Solutions is working with a leading event production business to recruit an AV Technician for a prestigious Central London venue account. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AV engineering experience who is looking to further develop their career within a busy venue environment, supporting a wide range of live, corporate and hybrid events. The successful candidate will work closely with the Venue Manager and venue teams to ensure events are delivered to a high standard while maintaining excellent client service throughout.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and support live events, including audio and presentation video requirements
- Support meeting rooms and hybrid event environments
- Assist with event preparation, equipment planning and operational documentation
- Liaise with venue stakeholders and support on-the-day event delivery
- Ensure events are delivered to client expectations
- Support the ongoing relationship between the production team and venue partners
Requirements:
- Previous AV engineering experience
- Knowledge of sound, video, camera and lighting technologies
- Experience supporting live and/or hybrid events
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required
