Job Summary: The Sales Director is responsible for representing Haivision’s technology portfolio in the assigned Sales region. The Sales Director will work with other Account Executives based in EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Overall account and client management within the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with end user clients and integrators/resellers/partners to develop regionally focused business plans.
- Work with broadcast and AV integrators/resellers/partners to represent Haivision products within the broadcast, AV, and enterprise industry.
- Develop, establish and maintain good working relationships with new and existing clients & partners.
- Participate on international and regional trade shows to represent the Haivision solutions as needed.
- Become a Haivision brand champion, capable of demonstrating and explaining our technology and products to key decision makers.
- Establish long-term relationships with end-user clients, resellers, partners, and integrators.
- Consult with the Senior Sales Director to set up objectives, goals, strategy, and plan of action for the territory.
- Participate in regular calls and meetings to help increase the territory’s business and foster the Haivision culture within the territory.
- Work closely with the broader Haivision team, including marketing, sales, and product, to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution of the EMEA market strategy.
Technical responsibilities
- Provide pre-sales technical/architectural overview to partners and customers.
- Remain knowledgeable and current with industry trends and technical developments that affect target markets, including competitive information.
Reporting
- Participate in internal and client-facing meetings, prepare reports and presentations.
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts and business plans for the territory.
- Keep CRM updated on a daily basis.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong sales background with experience of working in the industry.
- Strong customer focus.
- Superior verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Superior written communication skills.
- Strong ability to engage with and influence key decision-makers across all levels, including C-suite executives such as COOs, CTOs, CFOs and technical buyers.
- Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think “outside of the box”.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attitude and motivation to accomplish objectives and close a deal.
