We are currently supporting a leading live production and broadcast technology organisation in the search for two Guarantee Vision Engineers to join their engineering operations team. These positions will play a key role in the technical delivery of outside broadcast trucks and flypack systems across major live sports and entertainment productions. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile live sporting events and large-scale reality productions while operating within modern SMPTE ST 2110 and hybrid SDI/IP environments.
The Role
You will take ownership of vision and media systems across live productions, supporting projects from preparation through to onsite delivery. The role requires strong troubleshooting capability, technical leadership, and confidence operating in high-pressure live broadcast environments.
Responsibilities include:
- Technical ownership of vision systems across OB and live production environments
- Configuration and support of SMPTE ST 2110 and hybrid SDI/IP workflows
- Troubleshooting and fault resolution during live broadcasts
- Working across cameras, CCUs, routers, vision mixers, monitoring, and wider broadcast infrastructure
- Supporting integration across production systems and operational workflows
- Providing technical leadership onsite during live events
What We’re Looking For
- Experience operating at Guarantee Engineer, Technical Lead, or Technical Manager level within OB or live production environments
- Strong understanding of SMPTE ST 2110, multicast, PTP, networking, and hybrid SDI/IP systems
- Experience supporting and delivering systems in live operational environments
- Strong troubleshooting and client-facing communication skills
- Flexibility for travel and live production schedules
