A global news organisation is looking for an experienced Podcast Producer to join their audio team on a 6-month contract. The role involves end-to-end production of a weekly, interview-led podcast, including guest booking, editing, and publishing.
They are looking for someone with strong editorial instincts, excellent audio production skills, and familiarity with industry-standard tools—particularly Adobe Audition.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and schedule podcast episodes, including guest coordination and topic research
- Record, edit, and mix episodes to a high standard using Adobe Audition
- Write introductions, transitions, and show notes
- Publish episodes to platforms such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify
- Ensure all content meets high journalistic standards for accuracy and balance
- All necessary recording equipment
- Platform access and logins
- Full training on style, publishing workflow, and internal tools (excluding Adobe Audition)
Important: Shifts are fixed and rostered. Weekend availability required (incl. 11-hour shifts Saturday & Sunday). Contract role from 30/6/25 - 29/12/25. Outside IR35.
