Are you an organised and proactive professional with experience in television resource coordination and administration? We are recruiting on behalf of an international media organisation who are seeking an Operations Support Coordinator to join their London-based team.

In this dynamic role, you will work closely with managers across different departments which could include editorial, newsgathering, production, and technical operations to support the smooth functioning of the business ensuring the effective and efficient allocation of resources in a busy 24-hour live news environment.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Creating and managing accurate staff rotas
  • Planning ahead to ensure the needs of the business are met
  • Tracking and reporting financial activities including overtime and freelance spend
  • Ensuring compliance with internal processes and external regulations
  • Supporting project planning
  • Coordinating travel and resources
  • Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and contributors

This position requires exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience with scheduling systems and financial software is essential, along with a good understanding of TV news production.

This is a 5 days a week position covering some weekends on a shift pattern.
