We’re partnering with a newly built broadcast and remote production facility in South-West London looking for an experienced MCR Engineer to support sport broadcast operations across live, recorded, and remote workflows. You’ll be responsible for maintaining broadcast continuity, monitoring and routing feeds, and troubleshooting issues across baseband, IP, and cloud-based systems, working closely with production and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and monitor MCR systems and broadcast feeds
- Support live and remote productions
- Troubleshoot SDI, IP, and hybrid broadcast issues
- Configure and monitor encoders, decoders, and streaming platforms
- Ensure compliance with broadcast standards and procedures
What we’re looking for
- Experience in an MCR, TX, or broadcast operations environment
- Strong understanding of SDI and IP signal flow
- Experience with IP contribution and streaming protocols
- Ability to work under pressure on a shift-based rota
This is a 7 day fortnight pattern with shifts working between 8am-10pm, no overnight shifts will be included.
