Junior Camera Engineer

Our client, a film equipment rental company, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Camera Engineer to join our expanding technical team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of professional cinematic camera systems and a keen interest in the unique challenges of multi-camera productions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, configure, and test high-end camera equipment for shoots
• Conduct thorough technical checks to ensure all gear meets project requirements
• Support warehouse and bookings teams, troubleshoot issues, and maintain clear documentation
• Mentor junior staff and help standardise prep protocols
• Stay current with the latest camera technology and industry best practices

Requirements:

• Technical degree or experience working within a similar environment
• Proven background in film, broadcast, or live events
• Strong technical knowledge of broadcast/cinematic camera systems and accessories
• Familiarity with multi-camera workflows and live broadcast processes
• Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and teamwork skills

This role is based fully on site at the client's office in South London.
