Junior Camera Engineer

Our client, a film equipment rental company, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Camera Engineer to join our expanding technical team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of professional cinematic camera systems and a keen interest in the unique challenges of multi-camera productions. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, configure, and test high-end camera equipment for shoots Conduct thorough technical checks to ensure all gear meets project requirements Support warehouse and bookings teams, troubleshoot issues, and maintain clear documentation Mentor junior staff and help standardise prep protocols Stay current with the latest camera technology and industry best practices Requirements: Technical degree or experience working within a similar environment Proven background in film, broadcast, or live events Strong technical knowledge of broadcast/cinematic camera systems and accessories Familiarity with multi-camera workflows and live broadcast processes Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and teamwork skills This role is based fully on site at the client\’s office in South London.
