Technical Operations Lead

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Technical Operations Lead to take ownership of our hardware operations and help shape how products move from production to customers smoothly, efficiently, and at the highest quality.

This is a broad, impactful role where you'll sit at the centre of engineering, manufacturing partners, and customer support. You'll lead a small technical team, oversee testing and licensing, and be the go-to person for all things hardware operations.

What you'll be doing

• Owning day-to-day hardware manufacturing and order fulfilment operations
• Leading testing, licensing and customer support activities
• Acting as the operational bridge between engineering, manufacturing, sales and customers
• Working closely with contract manufacturers to maintain quality and resolve issues
• Supporting new product introductions and production readiness
• Driving continuous improvement across processes and systems
• Line-managing and developing a small technical team
• Rolling up your sleeves when needed as this is a hands-on leadership role

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in electronics manufacturing, test engineering or hardware operations
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle priorities
• A practical problem-solver who stays calm under pressure
• Confident communicator, comfortable working across teams and with external partners
• Flexible and adaptable, with willingness to work across office and manufacturing sites
