Our client, a world-renowned provider of media technology and live connectivity solutions, is seeking a Graduate NOC Operator to join their 24/7 operations team based at their state-of-the-art facility in Manchester. This is a 12-month fixed term contract and a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for broadcast technology to develop hands-on experience in a live network and teleport environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and maintaining the quality of incoming and outgoing broadcast video and audio signals
  • Performing integrity checks and ensuring system performance across transmission networks
  • Coordinating live services with clients, satellite operators, and third-party providers
  • Logging and reporting technical faults and service disruptions
  • Using scheduling and booking systems to confirm live event details and studio requirements
  • Supporting studio and transmission teams with basic operational tasks (e.g., routing, switching, monitoring)
  • Gaining familiarity with essential broadcast standards such as HD-SDI, DVB-S/S2, MPEG, ASI, and more
