b Overview /b p In this role you will own financial accounting and compliance for multiple entities across EMEA and APAC, reporting to the Financial Controller. You’ll work autonomously while staying connected to a global finance function to ensure accurate statutory reporting and controls. You will address VAT, tax, audits, and month‑end processes, contributing to governance and reporting across regions. This position offers international scope within a growing organisation and a hands‑on impact on finance transformation. /p b Responsibilities /b ul li Prepare statutory financial statements for assigned entities /li li Manage statutory filing requirements across multiple jurisdictions /li li Oversee VAT/GST returns and related compliance /li li Support corporate tax calculations, provisions and transfer pricing /li li Act as primary finance contact for external statutory audits /li li Coordinate audit schedules, documentation, queries and deliverables /li li Support insurance renewals and administration /li li Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist month/quarter/year-end closes /li li Support regional financial reporting and ad hoc analysis /li li Improve financial controls and documentation; support finance transformation and standardisation initiatives /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li 5+ years of VAT, tax and audit experience /li li Experience with multicurrency consolidation for UK statutory reporting /li li Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and statutory reporting requirements /li li Experience coordinating external audits /li li Knowledge of financial controls and compliance frameworks /li li Advanced Microsoft Excel skills /li li Experience supporting entities across EMEA and Asia Pacific /li li Understanding of international tax and transfer pricing principles /li li Exposure to ERP systems such as NetSuite; Salesforce, Avalara or Tableau /li li Experience in a technology company or in-house corporate environment advantageous /li /ul ul li Autonomy and self-motivation /li li Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration /li li Detail-oriented with rigorous controls mindset /li li NetSuite /li li Salesforce /li li Avalara /li /ul
