Field Camera Operator

Our client, a dynamic international media organisation known for producing high-quality live and pre-recorded news and current affairs content, is looking for a Camera Operator to join them on a 12-month fixed term contract. As a Camera Operator, you will report to the Lead Camera Operator and work closely with the gallery director and studio crew to deliver visually engaging content aligned with the channel’s brand identity. This role involves operating studio and robotic camera systems, supporting the set-up and execution of live broadcasts, and collaborating with directors to fulfil creative and technical production goals. Follow production briefs and adapt to changing broadcast schedules. Interpret and apply the creative vision of programme directors. Proven experience as a Camera Operator in live studio broadcast settings. Skilled in operating pedestal and remote-controlled camera systems. Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-moving news environment. Flexible with working hours, including overnights, weekends, and public holidays.
