A leading media and entertainment company is looking for a Category Manager, Fashion & Living UK & Ireland on a 6 month contract. As Category Manager you will lead the development and growth of a licensed Fashion & Living portfolio across the UK market. This role is responsible for driving long-term category strategy, identifying and managing best-in-class licensees, delivering innovative product ranges, and achieving revenue and growth targets by leveraging premium entertainment and brand content.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development and category management for Fashion & Living in the UK & Ireland
- Identify growth opportunities across segments, channels and franchises
- Negotiate and manage licensee agreements and performance
- Build commercially successful product ranges in partnership with creative teams
- Drive retail sell-in, including e-commerce, and manage key buyer relationships
- Deliver accurate forecasting, budgeting and performance analysis
- Support brand marketing initiatives and category planning
- Attend key retail meetings, trade shows and industry events
Skills & Experience
- Strong knowledge of brand licensing, fashion retail and the UK market
- Proven commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Strategic thinker with a strong eye for trend and product
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Solid financial and forecasting capability
- Experience in licensing, buying or category management within Fashion & Living preferred
