We have an exciting opportunity for skilled and motivated Broadcast Engineers to join a fast-paced, live television broadcaster based in London.
As a Broadcast Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted broadcast operations by providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will support both on-site broadcast and remote technologies, contribute to project work, and maintain high standards of technical documentation and emergency response.
- Respond to and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to live broadcasts.
- Provide on-site support for broadcast equipment, systems, and associated technologies, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues in real-time.
- Support outside broadcasts and live events as required.
- Maintain detailed records of support requests, solutions, and equipment configurations.
- Be available for on-call support during critical broadcasts or system failures, responding quickly to restore service.
- Participate in research and project work to support technical innovation.
- Uphold health and safety standards and promote equality and diversity values.
We are looking for candidates with at least some experience in broadcast or MCR (Master Control Room) engineering who are keen to further develop their technical skills within a dynamic media environment. Any exposure to live studio engineering and familiarity with a range of broadcast technologies would be ideal, including experience with graphics systems, cameras, vision and audio mixers, and NDI/IP networking.
You will need to be comfortable working shifts, including early starts and late finishes, as well as weekend working.
