We currently have an exciting opportunity with a leading global sports broadcast services provider to recruit an experienced Broadcast Manager for their Broadcast Operations team.This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of live event delivery, supporting global broadcasters and rights holders through the planning, coordination, and live transmission of major sporting eventsThe RoleThe Broadcast Manager will play a central role in ensuring the smooth and reliable delivery of live broadcast transmission services. Working across both a planning environment and a live operations centre, the role involves managing contribution and distribution workflows, coordinating suppliers, and supporting live events in real time.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning & CoordinationPlan and coordinate live event coverage with internal production and technical teamsSupport contribution and distribution services for in-house production and global broadcast partnersLiaise with third-party suppliers to arrange transmission bookings via satellite, fibre, BT Tower, and IP-based solutions (e.g. SRT)Manage transmission schedules, bookings, and technical requirements across multiple eventsProvide post-event operational support and communication with rights holdersLive Broadcast OperationsMonitor live contribution and distribution services during eventsRoute feeds and manage transmission paths from the Broadcast Operations HelpdeskMaintain accurate logs, timings, reports, and technical documentationLiaise with engineering, production, and technical teams to resolve transmission or operational issuesProvide live technical troubleshooting and support to global partnersAct as a key point of contact for bookings, changes, and fault managementSupply broadcasters with up-to-date schedules, distribution details, and live updatesConfidently monitor video and audio signals, manage talkback, and maintain professional on-air etiquetteKey Skills:Strong understanding of broadcast contribution and distribution workflows ideally form a live sports broadcasting environmentExperience with satellite, fibre, IP delivery (SRT/Zixi), and BT Tower servicesHands-on experience in live broadcast operations or transmission monitoringAbility to troubleshoot live broadcast issues under pressureExperience managing complex broadcast schedules and bookingsStrong communication and organisational skillsFamiliarity with signal routing, audio/video monitoring, and talkback systemsComfortable working in a small, fast-paced broadcast operations teamIf you feel you have the skills and experience to be successful in this role and you are fully eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship then please apply now.
