Christy Media Solutions is working with a leading event production business to recruit an AV Technician for a prestigious Central London venue account. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AV engineering experience who is looking to further develop their career within a busy venue environment, supporting a wide range of live, corporate and hybrid events. The successful candidate will work closely with the Venue Manager and venue teams to ensure events are delivered to a high standard while maintaining excellent client service throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and support live events, including audio and presentation video requirements
  • Support meeting rooms and hybrid event environments
  • Assist with event preparation, equipment planning and operational documentation
  • Liaise with venue stakeholders and support on-the-day event delivery
  • Ensure events are delivered to client expectations
  • Support the ongoing relationship between the production team and venue partners

Requirements:

  • Previous AV engineering experience
  • Knowledge of sound, video, camera and lighting technologies
  • Experience supporting live and/or hybrid events
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required
