We are seeking a native-level Mandarin speaker to join our thriving Modern Languages department as a Mandarin Language Assistant for the remainder of the 2026β2027 academic year. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to play a key role in helping individual students / small groups aged 11β18 develop their confidence and fluency in spoken Mandarin and cultural understanding. Closing date 30 October, 2026 This is a fixed term position for the 2026/2027 academic year, commencing August 2026 until August 2027. Working either Monday to Friday, mostly afternoons during term time, or as a full time live-in member of staff with some evening/weekend duties The full time salary for this role is Β£18,000 (for a live in role, this will include accommodation and free meals when school is in session).
