The Head of Cricket will have a strong commitment to sporting excellence, ensuring that our pupils achieve their maximum potential. Alongside this, they will play a fundamental role in promoting a culture of inclusivity and belonging within Cricket for all pupils and staff, ensuring that whole school aims, values and priorities feed into all aspects of the wider Sport programme.

The Head of Cricket will oversee all aspects of Cricket coaching and playing philosophy as well as work with the Director of Sport to shape a forward-thinking and coherent strategic vision for Cricket at Christ's Hospital. The department currently comprises 7 members of staff, incorporates a number of external coaches, Graduate Sports Assistants as well as a high percentage of the full-time academic staff.

The Director of Sport oversees the Sport and Exercise programme and the Head of PE oversees PE Lessons and Academic PE. Facilities are excellent and include twenty-one grass pitches, two floodlit all-weather pitches, a state-of-the-art athletics track, multiple tennis and netball courts, eight cricket squares, a swimming pool, a double sports hall, gymnasium, squash courts, fives courts, fitness suite and dance studio. Within this safe and pleasant environment our pupils can develop their skill base and learn the lifelong benefits of physical activity.
