What you will do
- Guide futures: Provide practical, personalised advice on subject choices, tertiary study, scholarships, vocational pathways and employment.
- Build confidence: Help boys understand their strengths and make informed decisions at every stage of their College journey.
- Create connections: Develop strong relationships with families, staff, tertiary providers, industry partners and the College’s Old Boys network.
- Bring careers to life: Coordinate events, deliver engaging presentations and create programmes and resources that inspire future possibilities.
What you bring
- A natural connection with young people: You build trust, listen well and provide balanced, impartial guidance.
- Careers knowledge: You understand New Zealand secondary and tertiary pathways, entry requirements and emerging opportunities.
- Outstanding organisation: You confidently manage appointments, events, records and competing priorities.
- Strong communication: You engage effectively with boys, families, colleagues and external partners.
Experience or qualifications in careers development, counselling, education or student guidance would be an advantage.

You will support the Anglican character, values and heritage of Christ’s College and handle student information with professionalism and discretion.
