Oakmere Mazda in Northwich is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our award‑winning team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Servicing & Repairs
  • Carry out scheduled servicing and repairs to Mazda manufacturer standards.
  • Diagnose and repair non‑routine faults using your technical knowledge and experience.
  • Complete MOT‑related inspections and Vehicle Safety Reports (VSR) accurately.
  • Work efficiently to job card times to maintain productivity.
  • Follow all workshop and dealership Health & Safety procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organised working environment and ensure workshop equipment is cared for and reported if faulty.
  • Quality & Efficiency
  • Follow established processes to deliver consistently high‑quality workmanship.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in workshop efficiency and performance.
  • Customer Interaction
  • Communicate clearly with customers about required or completed work.
  • Provide technical explanations in a way that suits each customer's level of understanding.
  • Build rapport and ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Team Support & Development
  • Support and mentor apprentice technicians, offering guidance and hands‑on instruction.
  • Assist colleagues who may be less familiar with certain vehicles or technologies.
  • Training & Development
  • Attend regular Mazda and group training to stay up to date with the latest vehicle technology and workshop equipment.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with colleagues across all departments to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Identify and communicate potential sales or service opportunities.
  • Report technical issues through the correct channels.
