We're working with an award-winning global entertainment and production company behind some of the world's most recognisable television, film, digital and live event projects. Their work spans premium scripted and unscripted content, documentaries, branded entertainment and culture-defining productions for major streaming platforms and broadcasters. The Opportunity

As People Operations Advisor, you'll play a central role in delivering an outstanding employee experience across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll support the full employee lifecycle while helping to build scalable processes and a positive, high-performing culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting end-to-end recruitment and partnering with hiring managers to deliver a first-class candidate experience
  • Leading onboarding and induction processes to ensure new starters have a seamless introduction to the business
  • Producing HR metrics and insights, including headcount, turnover and absence reporting, to support strategic decision-making
  • Partnering with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate monthly processing
  • Managing employee records and ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation and GDPR requirements
  • Supporting managers on probation reviews, performance processes, family leave, absence management and offboarding
  • Managing freelancer onboarding and ensuring IR35 compliance
  • Identifying opportunities to improve HR systems, processes and the overall employee experience
  • Contributing to engagement, learning and development initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive culture

About You

  • 2+ years' experience within a People Operations or HR Advisor role
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law, employee relations and IR35
  • Experience working with payroll and benefits administration
  • Confident using HRIS and ATS platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with experience producing and interpreting HR data
  • Highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused
  • Previous experience within media, entertainment, production or another fast-paced creative environment would be advantageous
