Our client is a fast-growing fashion brand on an exciting growth journey. As they enter their next phase of growth, they're seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of People to shape and lead their people strategy, ensuring they attract, develop, and retain exceptional talent while preserving the culture that makes them unique. This is a pivotal leadership role for an ambitious People professional who thrives in high-growth environments. Reporting directly to the Founders, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a people strategy that enables sustainable growth while fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and engaging culture.

As the company's senior People leader, you will partner closely with leadership to ensure their people, culture, and organisational design evolve alongside the business. You will combine strategic thinking with operational excellence, building scalable processes and frameworks that support both current and future growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • People Strategy & Organisational Growth
    • Develop and execute a People strategy aligned to the company's ambitious growth plans.
    • Partner with Founders and leadership teams on workforce planning, organisational design, succession planning, and talent strategy.
    • Build scalable people practices, policies, and frameworks to support a rapidly expanding business.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people-related matters.
  • Culture & Employee Experience
    • Champion and evolve the company culture during periods of rapid growth and change.
    • Create initiatives that drive employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and retention.
    • Ensure the employee experience remains exceptional throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
    • Lead internal communications and people initiatives that reinforce company values and behaviours.
  • Talent Acquisition & Employer Brand
    • Partner with hiring managers to build effective recruitment strategies.
    • Develop employer branding initiatives that position the company as an employer of choice within the fashion and creative sectors.
    • Ensure recruitment processes support both speed and quality of hire in a competitive market.
  • Leadership & Performance
    • Build and embed performance management, goal-setting, and development frameworks.
    • Coach and support managers in building high-performing teams.
    • Develop learning and development initiatives to support individual and organisational growth.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, feedback, and continuous improvement.
  • People Operations & Compliance
    • Oversee all HR operations, policies, and processes, ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation.
    • Drive HR systems, reporting, and data-driven decision making.
    • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement to support scale.
    • Manage employee relations matters with professionalism and commercial judgement.
About You:

Significant experience within a Head of People, People Lead, Senior HR Business Partner, or equivalent role. Proven success in scaling high-growth businesses, ideally within fashion, retail, consumer, creative, or founder-led environments. Experience building people infrastructure and processes from the ground up. Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
