Overview

Our client is a disruptive, indie fashion label redefining the scene through bold design and boundary-pushing storytelling. Theyโ€™re looking for a Creative Lead to join the team on a 12-month maternity cover, someone with the energy, vision, and edge to shape content and campaigns that truly move culture.

As Creative Lead, you will play a key role in defining and executing the creative vision across all channels. Youโ€™ll be a strategic, hands-on leader who balances creativity with commercial impact, bringing clarity, energy and innovation to everything you do, guiding the Creative Team to deliver world-class work that engages our audience and drives brand growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of our creative strategy to deliver business goals, with a focus on creative excellence and commercial impact.
  • Bring overall creative direction to life, ensuring it aligns with the brand identity, target audience, and market positioning.
  • Drive concept development and execution of visually impactful, elevated campaigns that engage and grow the community.
  • Oversee the creative output across all content formats, including image, video, digital marketing assets, and ecommerce content.
  • Stay ahead of cultural trends, platform developments, and customer behaviours (notably Instagram, TikTok, and other digital marketing channels) to inform and elevate creative strategy.
  • Champion innovation and elevate the visual standards of the brand through forward-thinking content and storytelling.
  • Line manage the Creative Manager and lead the wider Creative Team, providing clear direction, support, and developmental guidance to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Lead by example, motivating the team to consistently deliver high-impact work across image, video, and digital formats.
  • Collaborate with department leads to drive cross-functional alignment and a unified brand vision.
  • Oversee team planning, schedules, and delivery workflows to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and to high standards.
  • Manage external relationships (photographers, videographers, editors, agencies) to ensure partnerships contribute to elevated brand output.
  • Oversee direction and management of all brand shoots, including schedules, casting, locations and styling.
  • Support Senior Leadership and People Team by cascading key messages and aligning the team with business-wide priorities.
  • Own and drive the creative strategy and execution across major brand channels, including e-commerce, Instagram, TikTok and digital marketing platforms.
  • Ensure cohesive, strategic content that supports both brand awareness and commercial growth.
  • Lead campaign ideation, shoot planning, and post-production processes to ensure imagery and video content are elevated, platform-optimised and brand-aligned.
  • Deliver and execute against the content strategy to connect performance marketing with brand storytelling, balancing data insights with creative ambition.
  • Collaborate with performance, digital, and ecommerce teams to optimise outputs that drive engagement, reach, and conversion.

Qualifications / Skills

  • 5+ years of creative leadership experience within an aspirational brand.
  • Proven success in leading and developing a multidisciplinary creative team with coaching, mentoring, and elevating output across key channels.
  • Experience managing creative production across multiple platforms (e-commerce, organic social, influencer content, image and video campaigns, digital marketing).
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and collaborate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong commercial understanding and ability to translate creative work into actionable, results-driven content and campaigns.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with clear prioritisation, creative ownership and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt quickly, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-moving environment.
