Job Description

Christopher Hyde Lighting, a renowned name in exquisite, handcrafted classical lighting, is seeking a dynamic and sophisticated Showroom Manager to consolidate our exciting move from Chelsea Harbour to The Vaults in Clerkenwell which occurred in August 2025. This is a rare opportunity to represent a heritage brand at the very heart of London's most vibrant design district.

As Showroom Manager, you will serve as the primary ambassador for our brand. You will be responsible for curating an unparalleled client experience, driving revenue, and maintaining the immaculate presentation of our new London home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Brand Ambassadorship: Embody the Christopher Hyde ethos, ensuring every visitor receives a welcoming, informative, and luxurious experience.
  • Client & Sales Management: Cultivate lasting relationships with key clientele, including interior designers, architects, and specifiers. expertly guide clients through our collections and manage the sales cycle from initial enquiry to final order completion.
  • Showroom Excellence: Maintain the showroom’s visual standards to reflect our luxury positioning. oversee stock levels, visual merchandising, and daily operations.
  • Business Development: Actively engage with the local A&D community to identify new opportunities, drive footfall, and expand our market reach.
  • Event Coordination: Curate and host showroom events, product launches, and client meetings to cement our presence within the Clerkenwell design hub.
  • Strategic Reporting: Monitor sales performance and client activity, providing insightful reports to senior management.

    About You – You are a polished professional with a proven track record in luxury sales or management.

    Essential Experience:

  • Experience as a Showroom Manager or Senior Sales Consultant within luxury interiors, lighting, or high-end furniture.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the sales journey for high-value, considered purchases.
  • Success in working with HNW individuals and the A&D (Architect & Designer) community.

Skills & Attributes:

  • A genuine passion for classical interior design and decorative arts.
  • Impeccable communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercial astuteness with a drive to exceed sales targets.
  • High organisation, self-motivation, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • A proactive approach to networking.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is highly desirable.
