A well-established, growing accountancy practice in Maidstone is seeking an Assistant Manager or Manager (Accounts & Tax) to join its supportive and collaborative team. The Role: You will play a key role in managing client relationships and supporting the delivery of accounts and tax compliance work for a portfolio of small and medium-sized businesses, partnerships, and individuals. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and review accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders, and LLPs
- Prepare and review corporation tax, partnership tax, and personal tax returns
- Support and supervise junior team members, reviewing their work and providing guidance
- Act as a point of contact for client queries, building strong client relationships
- Assist partners with client meetings and ad hoc advisory work
- Monitor job budgets and workflow to ensure timely, accurate delivery

- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with experience in general practice
