We are working with a well-established accountancy practice in Reading that is looking to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in an accountancy practice who wants to continue building their technical skills in a supportive firm that encourages long-term career development. The role will be primarily office-based, although hybrid working may be considered for the right candidate.
The Role
This will be a varied role working with a wide range of clients across different industries. Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
- Completing VAT returns and assisting with management accounts
- Supporting senior team members on more complex accounting assignments
- Liaising with clients to obtain records and answer queries
- Assisting with the training and support of junior staff where appropriate
