The Company & Role
We're recruiting for an established accountancy practice in Guildford that's looking to welcome an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit and Accounts Senior to its team.
Our client offers a great combination of interesting technical work, client interaction and long-term career development, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step.
You'll work closely with managers and partners, taking responsibility for a range of assignments while supporting the development of junior colleagues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading external audit assignments from planning through to fieldwork and completion
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts under FRS 102, FRS 102 1A and FRS 105
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns
- Supervising and reviewing work completed by junior and semi-senior accountants
- Liaising directly with clients, answering queries and building strong relationships
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional accounting and business advice
- Working closely with managers and partners on more complex assignments
About You
We're looking for someone who is ACA or ACCA qualified, with previous audit and accounts experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.
You’ll ideally be confident managing audit assignments, reviewing accounts and supporting junior team members, with a genuine interest in progressing your career.
