Our client, a respected law firm in the Winchester area, is seeking a Conveyancing Assistant to join their team.
Your day to day will be varied, and each day will be different based on the demands of the caseload. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Assist solicitors with all aspects of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion.
- Prepare and review legal documents related to property transactions.
- Conduct property searches and compile reports.
- Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties.
- Maintain accurate and organised client files, both physical and electronic.
- Handle post-completion tasks including registration at the Land Registry.
- Manage and respond to client inquiries promptly and efficiently.
Our client is keen to find a candidate who is able to hit the ground running relatively quickly after joining, therefore the following skills/ experience points are ideal:
- At least 2 years of experience in conveyancing.
- Strong understanding of the conveyancing process.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with conveyancing software is a plus.
