We’re currently working with a well-established accountancy practice in Farnborough that is looking to strengthen its private client tax team with the addition of a Personal Tax Senior. Our client has built an excellent reputation locally and is known for its supportive culture, approachable leadership, and strong focus on staff development. It’s a great environment for someone who enjoys working closely with clients while continuing to build their technical tax knowledge. This role offers variety, autonomy, and clear progression opportunities within a growing firm.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including directors, landlords, and HNWIs
- Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns
- Handling CGT returns and P11Ds
- Acting as a key point of contact for client queries and HMRC correspondence
- Supporting partners and managers with tax planning and advisory work
- Reviewing work prepared by junior team members where appropriate
