The Role
Our client is looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join its team. This could suit an Accounts Assistant ready to progress or someone already at Semi Senior level looking to broaden their experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships.
- Preparing corporation tax computations and assisting with tax returns.
- Completing VAT returns and resolving bookkeeping queries.
- Contacting clients for information and answering day-to-day questions.
- Preparing clear working papers and responding to review points.
- Organising your workload to meet agreed deadlines.
About You
You’ll have experience working within an accountancy practice, including hands-on accounts preparation.
You may be studying towards AAT, ACA or ACCA, or have developed your skills through practical experience. You should be organised, comfortable communicating with clients and keen to strengthen your accounts and tax knowledge.
Familiarity with Xero, QuickBooks or Sage would be useful.
