Position in Organisation reports directly to the Director and forms part of the senior management structure responsible for business growth and operational development.
Normal Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary Range: £38,000 – £50,000 per annum (depending on experience and responsibilities)
Main Duties:
- Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase market share across Hampshire, Berkshire, and surrounding areas.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities, including residential sales, lettings, property management, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with property developers, landlords, investors, and commercial partners.
- Analyse local market trends, competitor activity, and business performance data to identify opportunities for expansion.
- Lead recruitment planning, onboarding, and performance management processes as the employed workforce expands.
- Develop operational systems, procedures, and service standards to support business growth and regulatory compliance.
- Manage and support regional property professionals to ensure consistent service delivery and achievement of business objectives.
- Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, pipeline activity, and key business metrics.
- Prepare business forecasts, budgets, and growth plans for review by the Director.
- Work closely with external professional advisers, including accountants, compliance specialists, and marketing providers.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, industry regulations, and company policies.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in business development, sales management, estate agency management, property services, or a related commercial environment.
- Proven ability to develop new business opportunities and manage client relationships.
- Experience managing teams, contractors, or operational functions.
- Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and business reporting tools.
- Experience within the UK property, estate agency, lettings, or property management sector.
- Relevant business, management, sales, or property-related qualification.
