Why This Role Matters
Christie’s is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic Marketing Strategy team in London. Marketing Strategy is a high-performing team that delivers innovative campaigns across auction, private sales and e-commerce. The candidate will play a pivotal role within the team developing, coordinating and executing marketing campaigns. Sale marketing campaigns will include the planning of paid media, website promotion, content marketing, CRM, organic social promotion all of which must drive buying, bidding and registrations for related sales.
The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, effective communicator, and have a passion for the arts and/or luxury goods. The Marketing Strategy team is based at King Street in London and is currently working a minimum of 3 days from the office per week (subject to change in accordance with Christie’s policies).
How You\’ll Make an Impact

Support the EMEA Marketing team from an administrative perspective

Gather, organize and proof assets for all campaign and sales promotion, business getting, brand efforts and evergreen content campaigns including: advertising (print + digital), email, web, video, social media, signage and direct mail collateral

Propose timelines, track progress, flag delays and problem solve to ensure timely delivery

Solicit feedback on marketing materials and work with Creative and Production teams to implement

Help to maintain detailed records of marketing activity and budget tracking

Raise purchase orders and liaise with the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely payment of invoices

Assist with copyright approvals on marketing materials (as needed)

Compile internal reports (e.g. pre-sale and post-sale reports) and help to track competitor launches and activity

Liaise with publications to book placements for digital and print advertising (as assigned)

Liaise with internal and external vendors, including printers and mail-houses, to ensure production and distribution of marketing materials

Assist with taking comprehensive meeting notes

Assist with any other tasks required for the day-to-day functioning of the team, as and when necessary
What you’ll bring to the team

University degree in Marketing or Business or relevant industry experience

Demonstrable experience working within a marketing team

Interest in arts/the art market/luxury/Christie’s

Experience in writing and presenting reports

Self-motivated and highly organised with exceptional attention to detail

Ability to interpret, prioritise and manage a variety of instructions provided in written, verbal or schedule form
