Why This Role Matters
As an HRIS Apprentice, you will support the maintenance and development of the HR platform, Workday. Your role ensures the delivery of efficient and accurate management information and administration. You will engage in analytical work and be involved in a variety of areas across the Reward and HR team, in addition to your core HRIS responsibilities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Understanding the technology that supports the HR function
- Learning key HR processes such as recruitment, learning and general HR processes
- Support the business users on Workday related queries
- Conduct thorough testing to ensure desired functionality
- Create user documentation to guide users on new or updated features
- Analyse data to help the team make decisions on development and change requests
- Help maintain and support our HR system and related application
- Collaborate with HR and IT team members to develop system optimization
- First line of contact for business users with Workday related queries
- Analyse, define, document, and validate specific functional requirements
- Participate in training, meetings, seminars, and other events to enhance your role
