Our Apprentices work across our organisation, supporting many different departments to ensure the seamless, day-to-day running of the World’s leading Auction House. We are seeking bright, dynamic school-leavers looking to start their career through an Apprenticeship rather than pursue a degree at University. If you are a school leaver with drive and ambition to be successful, fresh ideas, and a positive attitude, we can offer you the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills, along with the opportunity to be mentored and coached by industry experts during your time at Christie’s.
The Christie’s Apprenticeship Programme, starting Summer 2025, could be for you.
We are offering approximately 30 Apprenticeships across our business from Finance, Legal, Marketing, HR, Events Operations, and Specialist Art departments. You will be able to gain a professional qualification whilst gaining work experience at the World’s leading Art Business. The length of our Apprenticeships is course dependent but usually around 16 months.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- 5 GCSE’s grade 5 and above including Maths and English
- Positive attitude with someone wanting to roll their sleeves up and get involved
- Team-oriented
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Effective and flexible communication skills
- Able to focus on the task at hand and follow through to completion
- Any experience or exposure to office work would be helpful
What’s great about working for us:
- 25 days annual leave + 1 day Birthday leave
- Christie’s Christmas office closure (guaranteed between 25th Dec – 2nd Jan) – in addition to annual leave: almost two weeks to fully switch off and spend time with friends and family
- Additional 1 week’s annual leave within the year of a 5-year anniversary (i.e., 5th, 10th, 15th, and so on)
- Volunteering day: Take an additional day of annual leave to volunteer for a charitable organisation that’s important to you
- Donation matching of up to £500 per annum to help you support the organisations you care about
- Flexible Fitness Fund - £400 per year expense allowance for health and wellness related activity (taxable)
- Access to world-renowned art: with regular exhibitions in our galleries to wander around and exclusive guided tours hosted by specialist colleagues
- Discretionary Bonus (dependent on the business and employee performance, payable in March each year)
- Generous retirement plan: We will double match your pension contribution up to 5% of your basic salary (Max 10% contribution from Christie’s)
