We are seeking an experienced and motivated Product Owner to lead the front-end development of our recently launched application, built in Microsoft PowerApps. This application empowers our client-facing colleagues with actionable business insights, efficient workflows, and robust reporting capabilities.

In this role, you will focus on driving the evolution of the front-end experience, collaborating with business stakeholders and a shared PowerApps development team to deliver intuitive and impactful features. You will work with business stakeholders to gather user feedback, prioritize enhancements, and ensure the product continues to meet the needs of a wide and diverse user base.

Your ability to bridge technical development with business goals and navigate a complex matrix IT organization will be essential to your success.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Own and manage the front-end product roadmap, focusing on user interface (UI), workflows, and reporting capabilities.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize features based on user feedback, business needs, and performance metrics.

Advocate for the needs of end users by championing usability, accessibility, and design best practices.

Stakeholder Management

Partner with internal business stakeholders to align on priorities and clearly communicate front-end development progress.

Act as the primary liaison between the PowerApps development team and business units, translating user requirements into actionable tasks.

Maintain transparency with stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of timelines, priorities, and key decisions.

Collaboration with the Development Team

Work closely with the PowerApps development team to define workflows, improve reporting features, and enhance the user experience.

Provide clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for all front-end development tasks.

Balance competing priorities to ensure the timely delivery of impactful and user-friendly features.

Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the front-end design meets business and user needs.

User Feedback & Continuous Improvement

Together with business stakeholders, gather, analyse, and prioritize user feedback to inform product enhancements.

Monitor front-end usage metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and measure the success of new features.

Lead retrospectives to capture lessons learned and incorporate them into future development cycles.

Matrix Organization Navigation

Work effectively within a complex matrix IT organization to align with backend development, data teams, and other IT stakeholders.

Foster cross-functional collaboration to overcome organisational challenges and ensure cohesive product delivery.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, with a strong focus on front-end development and user experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerApps or similar low-code platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align diverse priorities and communicate effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles and design methodologies.
  • Track record of delivering impactful front-end features in a business-focused environment.
  • Experience working in a complex matrix IT organization, balancing multiple priorities.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation and reporting tools within the Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate, etc.).
  • Understanding of auction house operations or similar workflow-intensive environments.
  • Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
