The function of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Client Advisory EMEA team. The duties are varied and will follow the cycle of the sales calendar; duties will include support to allocated Client Advisors as well as to the overall department activity. This role will require strong time management skills to coordinate multiple conversations and projects at once and deliver to tight deadlines. The successful candidate should have excellent attention to detail and strong problem solving skills. The role provides essential general, operational, and administrative support that enables Client Advisors to focus on strategic client engagement, business development, and sales outcomes. Without this dedicated support, core client‑facing and post‑sale processes would be significantly slowed, increasing operational risk and negatively impacting the client experience with direct repercussions on transactional activity.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Directly support Client Advisors in all administrative aspects of their client relationships: accounts creation, maintaining up‑to‑date client records and purchase history where relevant, registering bids, providing last‑minute condition reports, images and any requested details, participate in telephone bidding, preparing sale packets, ensuring comprehensive post‑sale support.
  • Retain client preferred operational preferences in order to proactively support the Pre and Post Sale logistics and to be able to provide excellent customer service by anticipating their needs.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned by Client Advisory Associate and Client Advisors.

Administrative Support

  • Work closely and effectively with all specialists departments across all sale sites to timely gather team sales and exhibitions information, ensure correct distribution to the team.
  • Manage catalogues allocation and distribution.
  • Create purchase orders and sundry invoices, as required.
  • Ensure consistent department upkeep to client facing standards, including liaising with Facilities and manage department supplies.
  • Manage meeting arrangements, desks moves and IT troubleshooting.
  • Answer and follow‑through with incoming telephone calls to best assist clients in a timely manner.

Operational Support

  • Work closely and effectively with Client Advisory Associate and Operational departments across all sales sites to provide the team with updates on Christie’s operational parameters and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Shipping Department to source competitive shipping quotes to dispatch lots to clients, and follow through shipping processes to minimise delays and maintain clients updated on timelines. Escalate shipping incidents or prolonged delays to Client Advisory Associate when relevant.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
  • Strong language skills are preferable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including superior written and spoken communication.
  • Exceptional client service skills including strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated with superiors, clients and peers.
  • Ability to prioritise, manage time effectively and work under pressure to tight deadlines.

  • Knowledge of at least one European language preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), knowledge of Christie’s internal systems (CAMS, COS, JDE).
