We are an RICS-regulated commercial real estate advisory firm, working in the following specialist sectors: childcare, education, healthcare, hospitality, leisure medical and convenience retail. Purpose of the role
As our business grows we are now looking for a compliance and regulation specialist to join our team, in a hybrid role linked to our Nottingham or Bristol office.
About the team
The Compliance team currently comprises of two - a Director and a Senior Compliance Analyst β covering risk, regulation, quality assurance, audit, anti-money laundering, and data protection aspects across our three service divisions. We now seek a third person for a new role.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-house legal advice on a typical range of estate agency service lines.
- Manage, develop and run our Data Protection function.
- Review supplier and client contracts from time to time.
- Assist with policy and procedures evolution.
- Provide support to audit, quality assurance and KYC functions at busy times.
What we are looking for
- Broad legal knowledge and experience in the commercial estate agency sector.
- Detailed experience of Data Protection in practice.
- A confident advisor and decision maker, to support our fee earners.
- A willingness to share and support the Compliance teamβs workload.
- A natural problem solver with awareness of risk and other frameworks.
