Christie & Co is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to support the Head of Communications in a varied and fast-paced role. You will be confident producing high-quality content across multiple channels, including press releases, articles, blogs, podcasts, videos, and wider sector-facing communications. The role includes promoting our work across the childcare & education, healthcare, and medical sectors. This is a full-time, London-based position, with occasional UK travel required. A competitive salary will be offered, dependent on experience and qualifications.
What you will do:
- Collaborate with sector teams to develop communications strategies and content plans aligned to business objectives
- Monitor and report on communications performance, providing insight and recommendations for improvement
- Source, write, and edit content by working with colleagues across the business to develop engaging stories
- Manage media relations, including handling journalist enquiries, coordinating responses with subject matter experts, and meeting deadlines
- Work with marketing and design teams to deliver integrated communications campaigns
- Oversee corporate news output, including press releases, media monitoring, and website updates
- Create and schedule social media content to promote corporate activity and thought leadership
- Manage internal communications channels, including CG Connect, coverage reports, and newsletters
- Line manage and support the development of a Junior Communications Executive
Your experience will include:
- Degree-level education or a minimum of four years' experience in a communications role (ideally within professional services)
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with strong attention to detail and brand consistency
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders
- Experience handling media enquiries and delivering proactive PR activity
- Digital communications experience, including content management systems and email marketing platforms
- Proficiency in Office 365 and SharePoint
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience delivering B2B social media content
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Ability to measure and report on communications effectiveness
- Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
Desirable:
- PR agency experience
- Experience using CMS platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and social media scheduling tools (e.g. Buffer)
