We are looking for a patient, caring, and enthusiastic teacher with a love for languages and a commitment to equipping young people with effective linguistic skills.
Responsibilities:- Deliver German lessons to classes across Years 7–11, with a maximum of 22 pupils per KS3 class.
- Teach engaging, interactive lessons, that inspire pupils in their language learning.
- Guide GCSE students following the Pearson/Edexcel course, typically 4–10 students per year group. There would be the option to change to the AQA course if that suited the successful candidate.
- Work with an established scheme of work and lesson ideas while having the freedom to shape and expand the curriculum.
- Enjoy 50 min lessons that are the perfect length for engaging pupils in a variety of learning methods.
The role is usually spread across three days, with flexibility on exact hours/days to suit your schedule. The King’s School has its own pay scale, with contributions to an employer’s pension scheme and healthcare cover available to all staff.
