As a teacher here, you will have the unique opportunity to encourage pupils in their journey of faith, modelling a meaningful relationship with Jesus that is real and relevant.
We’re looking for a patient, caring, and enthusiastic KS2 teacher. The vacancy is for our Year 3 class, although there is scope for year groups to be swapped around from September. As a Primary Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively as part of a skilled Primary staff team. There is one class per year group, with usually 10-18 pupils per class. Schemes of work are in place, and you will have the opportunity to help our team shape the Primary curriculum as you grow into the role, ensuring that our pupils have a broad and dynamic learning experience. There is the scope for outdoor learning by making use of our lovely grounds.
The King’s School has its own pay scale, with contributions to an employer’s pension scheme and healthcare cover available to all staff. Pay range available on enquiry. A clear commitment to the Christian ethos of the school is essential. There is a Genuine DfE registered Occupational Requirement (GOR) that the post-holder is a Christian. Part 1 of Schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010 applies.
