Practice Overview
The Outpatient Adult Psychiatry practice is a highly respected, multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing comprehensive, confidential mental and emotional health care.
Clinicians including psychologists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, mental‑health counselors, and board‑certified psychiatrists deliver tailored evaluation and treatment services supported by the full resources of Christiana Care.
We care for patients experiencing a wide range of behavioral‑health needs, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, relationship and family challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, and other emotional or mental‑health concerns.
Our integrated model ensures patients receive convenient, coordinated support from a team committed to high‑quality, compassionate care.
- Work Schedule
- Monday through Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm
- No weekends or holidays

Duties / Responsibilities
- Greets and supports patients virtually and in person, preparing them for visits.
- Performs basic clinical tasks such as testing, injections, and EKGs; assists with exams.
- Maintains exam rooms and equipment.
- Manages EMR updates, patient communications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling.
- Handles clerical duties, troubleshooting video visits, and supports patient portal access.
- Position Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Graduate of a recognized Medical Assistant Program or hold current Medical Assistant Certification by a national organization accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) or the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
