About All Souls
All Souls, Langham Place is a conservative Anglican evangelical church in the heart of London's West End, with a large, diverse and international congregation of around 60 nationalities. Founded in 1824 and shaped by rectors including John Stott, the church marked 200 years of gospel ministry on Regent Street in 2024. All Souls comprises three linked charities, the parish church, All Souls Serve the City, and St Paul's Trust.
About the Role
As a senior appointment reporting to the Rector, you'll direct and coordinate All Souls' internal structure and operational support. You will lead an Operations team of around 29 staff, with direct line management of 5 reports across six departments. Your responsibilities include:
- Strategic leadership of the Operations Team, working closely with the Rector and Head of People & Culture
- Financial stewardship, including budgeting, controls and major fundraising
- Oversight of the church's property portfolio and capital projects
- Supporting governance across all three charities, including as ASSTC Company Secretary
- Leading technology, communications and data protection compliance
- Enabling ministry delivery through effective operational infrastructure
- Strategic oversight of All Souls Music and Sunday ministry
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the church family
- Leading integrated risk management across the three charities
This is a role with genuine scope to shape how All Souls is resourced and run, at a time when the church is reviewing its vision, values and mission.
