Are you a practising Christian with a mature, active faith? Have you got a pastoral heart? Are you passionate about connecting churches with people facing homelessness? If so, this role could be for you.

Role: Church Engagement and Chaplaincy Officer

Reporting to: Fundraising and Marketing Manager

Hours: Part-time - 1.5 days (11.25 hours) per week, with some evening and occasional weekend working to attend church services, events and meetings

Salary: Β£9,100 per annum (pro rata)

Location: Oakley Hall, 8 Castle St, High Wycombe HP13 6RF with some travel to local churches and meeting places

About Wycombe Homeless Connection: WHC is a Christian-led charity that's spent nearly 20 years preventing and reducing homelessness across south Buckinghamshire β€” recently recognised with an Outstanding Contribution to the Charity Sector award. Our faith shapes everything we do, though we never promote or evangelise; the people we support come from all faiths and none.

The Role: This new post will strengthen WHC's Christian life. You'll build relationships with local churches, encouraging prayer, volunteering and practical support.
