We are currently looking for an organised and driven Department Manager for our new boutique opening in Heathrow Terminal 5. The successful candidate will support the Area Manager in the efficient running of the Heathrow T5 boutique, ensuring sales targets and operational targets are met; all clients receive the highest level of service and the team are supervised and motivated.
Job responsibilities
- Lead by example, mentor and train the team to develop their sales and service techniques.
- Support the Area Manager with the development and implementation of a local client development strategy.
- Build internal relationships to support the team to cross-sell across product universes.
- Develop client loyalty through building relationships with VVIC and Elite clients.
- Monitor and improve the sales levels delivered within your department.
- Deal efficiently and effectively with any customer complaints.
Management Duties
- Support the Area Manager in the delivery of the department’s commercial goals whilst complying with all Company policies and through delivering the highest of standards.
- Develop relationships with Head Office colleagues in order to provide feedback on clientele and product performance.
- Support with the ordering and management of stock where required.
- Lead the store team, organising and delegating daily tasks.
- Support in the recruitment, evaluation, motivation and development of the team.
- Take all efforts to store minimises stock losses and store operating expenses.
Other
- Support the team to maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and display within the department.
- Be conversant with selling systems, cash and credit and exchange procedures.
- Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and retail standards within the store.
- Take all actions necessary to maximise security and prevent theft of product.
- Ensure that the terminal operates in accordance with the Company administration systems and procedures to minimise losses.
- Carry out any additional duties as directed by your Line Manager or Head Office.
- Represent Christian Dior as an ambassador at events where necessary.
Profile
- Previous experience at Department Manager level within luxury fashion.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Proven ability to lead an experienced and capable team.
- An existing client book (preferred).
- A passion for Christian Dior and our collections.
- Strong knowledge of fashion and trends.
- Fluency in a second language (preferred).
