Women\'s RTW Deputy Department Manager - New Bond Street (1 Year FTC)

We are currently looking for an organised and driven Assistant Manager for our Women's RTW Department within New Bond Street boutique. The successful candidate will support the Department Manager in the efficient running of the department, ensuring sales targets and operational targets are met; all clients receive the highest level of service and the team are supervised and motivated. This is a 1-year fixed-term full-time role which requires flexibility to work Monday to Sunday, 40 hours per week.

Job Responsibilities

• Customer Service – Lead by example, mentor and train the team to develop their sales and service techniques.
• Customer Service – Support the Department Manager with the development and implementation of a local client development strategy.
• Customer Service – Build internal relationships to support the team to cross-sell across product universes.
• Customer Service – Develop client loyalty through building relationships with VVIC and Elite clients.
• Customer Service – Monitor and improve the sales levels delivered within your department.
• Customer Service – Deal efficiently and effectively with any customer complaints.
• Management Duties – Support the department Manager in the delivery of the department's commercial goals whilst complying with all Company policies and through delivering the highest of standards.
• Management Duties – Develop relationships with Head Office colleagues in order to provide feedback on clientele and product performance.
• Management Duties – Support with the ordering and management of stock where required.
• Management Duties – Lead the store team, organising and delegating daily tasks.
• Management Duties – Support in the recruitment, evaluation, motivation and development of the team.
• Management Duties – Take all efforts to store minimises stock losses and store operating expenses.
• Other – Support the team to maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and display within the department.
• Other – To be conversant with selling systems, cash and credit and exchange procedures.
• Other – To maintain the highest standards of housekeeping and retail standards within the store.
• Other – Take all actions necessary to maximise security and prevent theft of product.
• Other – To ensure that the boutique operates in accordance with the Company administration systems and procedures to minimise losses.
• Other – To carry out any additional duties as directed by your Line Manager or Head Office.
• Other – Represent Christian Dior as an ambassador at events where necessary.

Profile

• Previous experience at Assistant Manager level within luxury fashion.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• Proven ability to lead an experienced and capable team.
• An existing client book (preferred).
• A passion for Christian Dior and our collections.
• Strong knowledge of fashion and trends.
• Fluency in a second language (preferred).
