Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Fitter / Welder to join our team. Applications are welcomed from experienced fitters/welders as well as apprentices looking to develop their skills within the engineering industry.
The Role:
As a Fitter / Welder at Difco Equipment, you will play a key role in the fabrication, fitting, and assembly of engineered equipment to exact specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced professional or someone eager to learn and build a long-term career within a progressive engineering company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabrication and welding of components to engineering specifications
- Assembly and fitting of equipment and machinery
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical plans
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality
- Carrying out inspections and checks throughout the build process
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines
- Assisting with general workshop duties as required
