We are seeking enthusiastic Civil Engineering Apprentices to join our team, based on a major Civil Engineering scheme in Northern Ireland.

This position plays a vital role in the development and delivery of high-quality temporary works solutions across a variety of civil and structural engineering projects. The role is predominantly office-based, focusing on the design, coordination and technical assurance of temporary works schemes. You will work closely with project teams to ensure safe, efficient and compliant temporary works arrangements. While office-based will form the core of the position, there will also be the opportunity to visit sites as needed, supporting the implementation, inspection, and monitoring of temporary works solutions.

A Civil Engineer will:
- Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental and Quality requirements are adhered to.
- Undertake Surveying and setting out duties.
- Plan the work and efficiently organise site operations in order to meet an agreed programme milestones.
- Liaise with any consultants and sub-contractors engaged in the project as necessary.
- Resolve any unforeseen technical challenges and other problems that may arise.
- Undertake the testing and calibration of instruments used.
- Share improvements and innovation.
- Support site visits, inspections and the resolution of technical issues where required.
- Continuously learn and develop through our GRAHAM Academy.
Undertaking/Willing to undertake an ICE accredited Civil Engineering Degree or Equivalent.
Demonstrate strong communication skills.
Strong IT skills.
Commutable distance to Head Office, Hillsborough.
Right to work in the UK.
Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
- An appreciation of Health & Safety practices.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous work experience specifically in Construction industry.
- Able to demonstrate problem solving.
