We are seeking proactive Section Managers who are passionate about working collaboratively, driving team performance, and committed to continuous improvement. Due to ongoing growth within our Prepared Foods division, we are hiring 2 Section Managers for our RTC department and 2 for our Intake department. Both roles are vital for smooth operations, with distinct responsibilities and requirements.

Shift pattern: Week 1 – Wednesday and Thursday; Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Hours: 6 am until finish.

Salary: Intake Section Manager £35,000 per annum; RTC Section Manager £39,800 per annum.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all processes in your area to meet business targets and comply with BRC, TFS, SMETA, and other audit standards.
  • Oversee and lead all production activities in your area.
  • Plan labor and control costs, including managing agency workers.
  • Manage the team within your area, with team size depending on the department.
  • Drive profitability of the production operation.
  • Implement allergen awareness and controls (RTC only).
  • Promote continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage customer service levels to meet agreed targets.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing.
  • Proven leadership skills and results-oriented approach.
  • Strong understanding of technical requirements.
  • IOSH certification.
  • Food Safety Level 3 qualification.
